US Postal Service Recognizes
The Segerdahl Group

Washington DC
The US Postal Service has awarded The Segerdahl Group its prestigious ‘Corporate Business Solution Award,’ which was presented to the company on May 19, 2008 at this year’s National Postal Forum, held in Anaheim, California.

This is an important accomplishment. Nominations were submitted from every part of the country, representing almost every major corporation, yet there are only a handful of winners. Making the award even more unique is the fact that Segerdahl was nominated by Walter F. O’Tormey, USPS Vice President of Engineering, USPS Headquarters, Washington DC.

The award itself recognizes Segerdahl’s efforts in supporting the USPS by helping our mutual customers find smarter mail solutions, save postage and optimize value in direct mail. The award was given for an informative marketing piece called “Size Matters” which Segerdahl sent to all of our customers. The piece was not only well received by our clients, it had an even greater impact with postal officials, a fact that ultimately served as the catalyst for the award. As stated by Walter O’Tormey, “The Segerdahl Group is one of the leading, cutting-edge commercial printing companies in the country, specializing in personalized one-to-one marketing and direct mail solutions with the goal of helping their customers increase target audience interest and response, which in turn helps their customer’s increase their revenues and profitability through the mail.”

National Postal Forum, (NPF)
The NPF is held once a year and draws about 6,000 attendees consisting of mailing professionals and industry leaders from business around the world. The purpose of the NPF is to educate the mailing community about postal product and services and show them how to use those offerings more effectively. The event also provides additional insights on mailing trends, technology, and postal policy.
